Competing in the U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship, Sea Island GC, St. Simons Island, GA on Oct. 2-7 were Jeffrey Hedden of Quaker Hill, Rich Jung of Westport, Peter Cerrato of Suffield and Thomas Scarrozzo of Avon. They did not qualify for match play. ... Marika Lendl of Goshen was named an American Junior Golf Association Rolex All-American honorable mention. ...
