Finally, a course with plenty of drinking water stations (kudos). This is a day-and-night kind of place. The day being the front side, which is fairly open and easy to walk. The night being the back side with tree-lined fairways and elevation changes on every hole. Have to be in good shape to walk this side. All greens in good shape, but some are faster than others with good undulations. Bunkers were rocky. The big tree on the 18th hole is a nuisance. I only used driver on six of the holes. All in all, this was worth the time.

Laurel View is a very fair and challenging course. Played from the back tees it can challenge low-handicap golfers, and from the ones appropriate for the higher handicaps, it plays very fair. Played the front nine 2 weeks ago and the back nine the evening of June 11 and found the course in great shape. The greens were slower than expected, but other than that, a great place to play. Good for walkers looking to get some exercise, as it has a good share of hills and water comes into play on three or four holes. Stay out of the rough and trees, which can be nasty on some holes, and you will be rewarded. Definitely recommend the course. The only thing I would hope they improve on is the driving range by putting in grass tees.
