You get just about everything here: Elevation changes on every hole. Fast, receptive greens with mild undulations. All kinds of peaks, hollows and slopes on the fairways (the 10th and 18th holes are dry now after spring thaw) and wide enough to shape shots. What stands out is the rough -- very thick, wiry and penal. My round was such that three birdies got mixed with two double bogies and three bogies. A birdie on the 18th after reaching in two was a good close. Plenty of water stations and a huge practice green add to a fine experience. Look forward to playing here more often.
