I definitely recommend this course if you're an experienced player playing with beginners, or if you want to practice your short irons. The hills and tiny greens on the 2nd and 7th-9th holes add a little challenge to the round, but overall, the whole experience won't frustrate the beginner. If you get out early enough you won't have to put up with too much delay, but be prepared to sit and wait if you tee off after 11 a.m. I've burned through a round of nine in an hour when pace is fast, however, I've also experienced 2-hour rounds (again, after 11 a.m.). Just a quick nugget: You don't have to call ahead for tee times, but I suggest that you do to see if they have any early-bird specials. For instance, before 11 in June you can play a round of nine for $12 instead of $17.
