I was on vacation in Westerly, RI so I decided to try Elmridge. What a pleasant surprise! Twenty seven holes of golf, friendly people and atmosphere, and the feeling of golf courses of years past. A truly enjoyable experience, and I only wished I lived closer to play it more often. Most fairways are open and forgiving, but it's the greens that make this course fun. The greens were a little slow the day I played (a stormy previous night), but challenging. No regular flat easy greens here -- either you are good in your putting or three- and four-putts will haunt you. I recommend this course for anyone visiting the casinos or just on vacation in eastern CT or western RI. Lots of fun and wonderful people!

Greens are absolutely terrible now. Played the Blue course, and the aeration holes left in the green make putting a waste of time. In addition, the greens really need to be rolled and mowed. They are shaggy, clumpy and very slow. I expected a much better effort from this course.
